Photo Album: IHRC International Conference "Towards a New Liberation Theology - Reflections on Palestine" Date: 12 June 2005 This was an open and robust one day conference discussing the role of faith in liberation struggles. Religion, particularly in the Palestinian context, has been portrayed as a hindrance to peace and not as a methodology for liberation. This conference aimed to discuss the role religion plays in the lives of peoples’ struggling for justice, looking at other liberation struggles as well as the Palestinian cause.
