Case-work support / General Administrative worker, 3 days a week
Three months starting September 2004
£12,000 pro rata
IHRC is looking for part-time cover for one its officers due to take three months leave. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking experience within a civil society organisation that deals with domestic advocacy and international campaigning.
Applicants should be computer literate, and some experience of case-work is desirable but not essential. Applicants should provide at least two personal references and a CV, with a covering letter briefly outlining why they want to work for IHRC.
Applications must be received by 11th August 2004, and must be available for interviews for short-listed candidates that week.
IHRC hours are 10 am - 6 pm, and our offices are based in Wembley, London. Some work during unsociable hours may be required.
Job description
Provide case-work support to the volunteer advisors
Undertake basic case-work administration
Provide campaign support including writing of alerts and other campaign material
Undertaking some general administrative work
