URGENT ALERT: IHRC Counselling service for Muslim women on standby

In response to growing fears of violence and an actual rise in aggression towards Muslim women, IHRC has launched a counselling and referral service aimed to provide professional advice and support for victims of such abuse.

The emergency number: 07960 076099 is for the use of women only and operated by trained IHRC staff. Please circulate these details to your community so that they can benefit from the service. Please also ensure the community takes on board the precautionary advice given to Muslims by IHRC to ensure its general safety. IHRC is continuing to monitor all forms of harassment from verbal and physical abuse to criminal damage. Please continue to report such incidents as documentation is necessary to ensure increased security and protection for the community.
