The Black Londoners Forum host the first of a series of community forums

‘War On Iraq: Is it also a war on our communities? The implications for BME Londoners?’

Venue: Committee Room 5, City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London (Nearest tube station London Bridge)

The Debate will examine the following:

• Whilst only 20 per cent of Londoners support Britain joining a US-led action against Iraq without United Nations approval, 72 per cent oppose it (YouGov survey, Feb. 2003). What does this mean for democracy?
• What are the possible repercussions of conflict on BME communities?
• Will war provoke more acts of terrorism in the future?

Taking part in the panel discussion and answering questions from the floor will be:
