Lord Avebury, the Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary HR Group Cordially invites you to a Press Conference: Bahrain’s revolution for change.

The events of the past week in the Gulf state of Bahrain has taken many by surprise but for its people, it was inevitable. It was clear that the regime could not grasp the lessons of both the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions but resorted to violence. What are the underpinning causes and where is it heading? Politicians and human rights experts will give their opinions.

11.30 am Tuesday 22nd February 2011
Committee Room 2A, The House of Lords London SW1A 0PW
