The Council of Indian Muslims UK has organised a national picket at the
Wembley Conference Hall from 3pm to 6pm supported by leading Muslim and
Non-Muslim Organisations on Sunday 17th April 2003.

Assalamalaykum,

As you maybe aware the Muslims in India continue to be persecuted at the
hands of Hindu fascists. More recently in Gujarat we saw the genocide of
thousands of Muslims.

THE BUTCHER, NARENDRA MODI, CHIEF MINISTER OF GUJARAT, HAS BEEN INVITED TO SPEAK AT A RIGHT WING HINDU CONFERENCE AT THE WEMBLEY CONFERENCE CENTRE IN LONDON ON SUNDAY 17TH AUGUST 2003 ORGANISED BY THE OVERSEAS FRIENDS OF BJP AND VHP UK.

The Council of Indian Muslims UK has organised a national picket at the
Wembley Conference Hall from 3pm to 6pm supported by leading Muslim and
Non-Muslim Organisations including the Muslim Relief Organisation to protest
against the war crimes committed against Muslims. The Muslim Relief
Organisation has been involved in the rehabilitation and resettlement of the
victims in the Gujarat Genocide.

During 2002, the BJP Gujarat Government with the connivance of the Police
and the brutality of fascists\\\' Hindu organisations, VHP, RSS and Bajrang Dal
were complicit in the massacre of over 2500 Muslims. The brutality was
against the most vulnerable of people in society including the gang rapes,
killing and burning of thousands of women and children. The victims
included 3 British Muslims. The massacre included the want and destruction
of Muslim property with economic damage of over 1 billion pounds. DESPITE
EYE-WITNESS ACCOUNTS THERE HAVE BEEN NO CONVICTIONS TO DATE.

WE MAKE A HUMBLE REQUEST FOR YOUR SUPPORT TO PUBLICISE AND ATTEND THIS EVENT
ON YOUR E-MAIL ALERT GROUPS / WEBSITE. PLEASE PRINT-OFF THE ATTACHED
