Merve Kavakci & Imam Achmad Cassiem
Many movements against oppression world-wide have been motivated by or have included Islamically-motivated struggles in pursuit of justice.
Two of the Islamic Human Rights Commission's advisors, Merve Kavakci, a former Turkish MP and Imam Achmad Cassiem, a veteran of the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa, will comment and take questions on struggles past and present and the overall commitment of Muslims to the creation of a just society.
