Alert: UK – Launch of boycott Israeli dates campaign this Ramadan

The Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) is pleased to re – launch its campaign to boycott Israeli dates.

Most of the Israeli date crop – up to 80%, is exported, mainly to Europe, where it has around 10% market share. In 2005, dates were Israel’s leading fruit export.

For more facts describing the horrendous work conditions of  Palestinians employed to pick the dates as well as the use of child labor, please visit: inminds

We encourage all coordinators, volunteers and individuals to distribute these leaflets amongst friends, family and the wider community to raise awareness and to prevent further support to a company that aids a system which insists on causing unimaginable human suffering  contrary to universal human conscience as well as flagrantly violating international law.

To order leaflets please send your name, address and the quantity you require to Haneefa by one of the following means:

Telephone: 0208 904 4222
Post: IHRC, PO Box 598, Wembley, HA9 7XH, UK.
