The annual Islamophobia conference takes place across 11 and 12 December 2021.  Co-organised by Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC), Scotland Against Criminalising Communities (SACC) and the Decolonial International Network Foundation (DIN), it tackles the issue of Muslim and minoritized community interaction with the Westernised establishment.

The sessions will draw on:

• (Muslim specific) theological debates;
• real world experiences of academia, civil society and working from within and without institutions;
• examples from social movements around the world from the Black Panthers and Young Lords in the USA to the Farmers’ Protest in India;
• ongoing struggles in tackling colonised forms of education;
• attempts to bring social transformation and change in the cases of war, segregation and apartheid past and present.

The panels across both days will be chaired by Seyfeddin Kara and Saeed A. Khan.
