IHRC notes today’s Blair-Bush talks in Belfast over postwar Iraq and the finalisation of the Middle East road map raises serious concerns.
As events develop apace, IHRC has as usual been producing a variety of press releases, briefings and compiling articles.
IHRC is deeply concerned as to the possible nature of post-war Iraq. With no respect and regard for international law and human rights, the post-Saddam US regime may witness one tyranny replace another.
Whilst only 20 per cent of Londoners support Britain joining a US-led action against Iraq without United Nations approval, 72 per cent oppose it (YouGov survey, Feb. 2003). What does this mean for democracy?
