Once Upon a Hatred: Anti-Muslim Experiences in the USA by Saied R. Ameli, Ebrahim Mohseni Ahooei and Arzu Merali

This is the latest in the Muslim Experiences project run by IHRC.  This book presents a history of racism in the USA, the rise, role and context of Islamophobia and hard and fast statistics based on IHRC’s 2012 survey of Muslims in California of hate crimes.  Shockingly almost 30% of Muslims surveyed said they had been a victim of a hate motivated physical attack.  Find out more about this and other experiences in this volume.
