Event Update: Nominate Now for The Second Annual Islamophobia Awards!

This year’s fundraising night of comedy, sumptuous food and entertainment will take place on 26th June 2004. As usual it’s you the public who choose which chauvinist will be shortlisted for this year’s ‘Most Islamophobic’ in the following categories:

Most Islamophobic British Politician of the Year

Most Islamophobic International Politician

Most Islamophobic Media Personality

Most Islamophobic Media (radio or TV programmes, stations or networks, newspapers or magazines)

Islamophobe of the Year

* How to nominate

Up to two nominations can be made per category, please confirm your nominations with supporting reasons and attach any material (e.g., video clips, newspaper articles etc.) you feel supports your choice. You can submit nominations by emailing us before 1st June 2004.

If you are emailing please remember to put \’nominations\’, in the subject line.

The panel of judges who will decide the overall winners of each category will also be deciding which reasons submitted are the best and will award free tickets for the best submissions. Submissions can be written or submitted in other forms e.g. PowerPoint presentations.

*Buying tickets

You can also book your ticket from now. The programme will include a sumptuous dinner, nasheeds and other entertainment, the spoof awards and an auction in aid of IHRC’s work. So pencil in that date and call us to book your place at the event of the year.

Tickets: £45.00 with a discount for group bookings of 10 or more
