ALERT – UK: Request for Regional and Local Coordinators

IHRC are looking to recruit regional and local coordinators (Volunteers) who would be responsible for IHRC promoting IHRC activities within their area. This would involve:

• Distributing IHRC literature within the community
• Raising awareness of the campaigns
• Organising events/ speakers
• Organising vigils and demonstrations
• Fundraising
• Organising fortnightly/ monthly support meetings for campaigners within the area.

The local coordinators would be required to regularly liaise with the regional coordinator and with a designated IHRC staff.

Training will be provided for selected volunteers on the above areas.

If you are interested, have the time and are willing to make the commitment, then please contact IHRC for further details.
