IHRC has campaigned tirelessly, alongside InMinds and others, against G4S.  We have held protests outside the headquarters in London regularly, we have occupied the offices inside, we have handed in letters addressed to the chairman, and we have leafleted people outside G4S offices.  This has resulted in this partial victory of G4S quitting contracts in Palestine.

This success shows that IHRC’s continued campaign against G4S is working.  We still need your help and continued support.  Our next protest is on Friday 3rd May, 15:00-17:00.  Please visit our website for more information www.ihrc.org

However, G4S will continue to work in prisons that house Palestinian prisoners.  We will continue to campaign against the company until it quits all its work with Israel.  Our next demonstration outside IHRC has held 11 protests against G4S since September last year.

Chair of IHRC, Massoud Shadjareh said, “This shows that our work is paying off.  The message needs to be very clear, if you work with Israel in helping oppress Palestinians, there is no where you can hide, and we will expose you.”

“And what reason have you that you should not fight in the way of Allah and of the weak among the men and the women and the children, (of) those who say: Our Lord! Cause us to go forth from this town, whose people are oppressors, and give us from Thee a guardian and give us from Thee a helper.”
