IHRC has joined with Khayaal Theatre for an exciting, new kind of storytelling performance event called Muslim Heritage Stories. Book your places now for what is sure to be a memorable event on Wednesday 26 October, where storytelling will be taken to a whole new level with a celebration of the magnificence and splendour of Muslim cultures. Suitable and open to all ages and families, performers will captivate the audience with fun and educational tales of the Muslim world.

Stories will include:

  • Tale of the Sands – A mesmerising metaphor of the courage required to embrace the inevitable change that life brings. A story of unity. (Tunisia)
  • The Seasick Slave – A funny reflection on discovering happiness and contentment amidst the turbulence of life conveyed involving playful audience participation. A tale by Shaykh Muslihu ‘d-Din Sa’di (Iran)
