IHRC UK Event Reminder: Tonight -\’Dissent and Detention: Before and After 9/11\’ a panel discussion, London, 24th March 2005

IHRC is holding a panel discussion to look at what changes have occurred in the suppression of dissent and resistance, if any, since 9/11. The panel will also address and discuss the consequences at regional and international levels of these changes, and how they impact on a global culture of human rights.

Confirmed participants: Imam Achmad Cassiem, chair of the Islamic Unity Convention in South Africa and a veteran of the anti-apartheid struggle and Mu\’allim Ibraheem Al-Zakzaky, the well-known scholar and campaigner.

The meeting is open to all and admission is free.
