London E1 1JE
13th October 2004 @ 7pm.

This public event has been organised by the Black & Minority Ethnic Cracking Crime Project (BME CCP) based at Black Londoners Forum. It is a chance for people to air their views on this highly emotive subject, and for them to put forward suggestions to improve the situation. There will be an opportunity to put questions to representatives from the:

Metropolitan Police Service
Metropolitan Police Authority
Islamic Human Rights Commission
Institute of Race Relations
The event will be chaired by the barrister Charlotte Kilroy from Matrix
Chambers.

The outcome of the event will be a report with recommendations that will be submitted to the Home Office, the Metropolitan Police Service, the
Metropolitan Police Authority, and to Lord Carlyle who is responsible for
the annual review of the Anti-Terrorism legislation. All community members
are welcome.

If you would like to register please contact David Dalgleish, BME CCP on 020 8709 9777 or by e-mail on david@blacklondon.org.uk
