The previously secret papers, which were jointly released and analysed by the Guardian Newspaper and Al-Jazeera in January, revealed shocking disclosures which have serious implications for the region. The 1,600 papers include records of secret meetings, private emails and memos between Palestinian, Israeli and American leaders over a period of ten years.

MEMO and FOSIS are bringing together a distinguished panel of experts to offer their own insights into the documents. They will explain what the papers revealed and discuss their impact on the ground and future negotiations.

Panel members include:

  • Sir Richard Dalton (Former British ambassador to Iran)
  • Clare Short (Former International Development Secretary)
  • Tim Llewellyn (Former BBC Middle East Correspondent)
  • Kathleen Christison (Former CIA political analyst and co-author of the book “Palestine in Pieces”)
  • Oliver McTernan (Co-Founder and Director of Forward Thinking)
  • Seumas Milne (Guardian Columnist and Associate Editor)
  • Clayton Swisher (Al-Jazeera English Correspondent and author of “The Truth about Camp David”)
