Summary

Write to your foreign minister demanding that they take action regarding the kidnapping of their countries citizens in international waters by the Zionist entity, whilst they were taking aid to Gaza, and that they make clear that aid must be allowed to reach Gaza in line with International law.

Background

The Freedom Flotilla taking aid to Gaza, has just been raided by the Zionist militia, with at least 5 boats intercepted by military ships and boarded by soldiers, and mass kidnappings taking place. The flotilla has lost contact with another 5 boats, as reports come that 23 volunteers have been kidnapped. Two weeks ago, when similar raids took place, at least 30 volunteers needed to go to hospital to deal with the injuries. The known volunteers kidnapped this time around come from three of the boats and include citizens of Britain, France, Rep of Korea, Greece, Albania, Spain, Portugal, Australia, the US, Canada, Belgium and Denmark.

Action Required

Write to the foreign ministries of your countries demanding that they hold the Zionist entity to account, demand the release of their own citizens, and agree to force the Zionists to accept aid into Gaza.

Dear [INSERT NAME],

Re: The illegal raids on the Gaza flotilla

I am writing to you in regard to the kidnapping of at least 23 volunteers who were on the freedom flotilla to deliver vital aid to the people of Gaza, including citizens of our own country. Two weeks ago it was reported that after similar raids on another flotilla attempting to reach Gaza, over 30 volunteers were hospitalised, and there is fear once again of extreme violence and torture taking place.

These ships were raided by the Israeli army in international waters, 255 nautical miles from Gaza, in an act of piracy, illegal under international law. In 2024 the International Court of Justice ruled that no country is allowed to stop aid from reaching Gaza, and what has been done to these aid workers, including our own citizens must not go unanswered. I demand that you hold Israel to account, demand the safe release of these volunteers and demand that they allow aid to reach Gaza, without it being hindered by any future acts of piracy.

Yours sincerely,
