In a report entitled “Saudi Arabia’s Political Prisoners: Towards a Third Decade of Silence,” the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) describes political imprisonment in Saudi Arabia as “an epidemic [which] has not spared any sector of Saudi society.”
