This week the Decolonial Dialogues continues with its overview of the US elections 2020.

Sandew Hira asks where the US is heading in the coming years? Can we expect social disintegration. Ramon Grosfoguel and Sandew Hira discuss further the fact that Trump had 60 million votes in the last election and Clinton had 63 million. So although he lost the popular vote, he got the electoral college. Now Trump has 70 million votes, whilst Biden has 74 million votes who has carried both the popular vote and the electoral college.

Will the high expectations for a Biden-Harris administration be dashed? Is that in fact inevitable? Grosfoguel discusses the two forms of white supremacy in the US, its apartheid system and the demographic shifts in the US in the coming years.
