The Mysteries of Charity and the Mysteries of Fasting: Book 5 and 6 of The Revival of the Religious Sciences / Al-Ghazali

Al-Ghazali covers an array of issues from the essential outward aspects of paying charity, to the inward aspects of the state of the heart during the fast and how to humble oneself completely.

As a practical, yet profound book, it is an indispensable guide for Muslims who seek a deeper comprehension of these two fundamental practices for Muslims, and for all those interested in understanding the meaning and role of charity and fasting in Islam.

With the situation in Palestine escalating and on the news, here are a couple of suggested books. More books on Palestine are available on our website.

The Excellence of Syro-Palestine: Al-Sham and it’s People: Forty Hadiths

This is an exciting publication on a very important subject: The excellence of al-Shām and its People. We hope the work makes us reflect on the current crisis and a look into what the future holds.

The world renound scholar of Hadith Shaykh Gibril Fouad Haddad compiles and edits this revised second edition that includes copies of the hand written forwards by some of the great Scholars of Damascus: Shaykh Adib Kallas, Shaykh Tukamani, Shaykh Ghawji al-Albani & Shaykh Salah al-Din Fakhri. This is a lovely edition that contains both the Arabic and English text.
