return to your Lord well pleased and well pleasing;
So, enter among My (special) servants,
and into My Garden.’

IHRC is saddened by the news of the passing of Amirali Pyarali Merali Hashim.
Mr Merali was a long standing supporter of IHRC which his daughter Arzu Merali co-founded in 1997.
Helping selflessly from behind the scenes without any demand for recognition or acclaim, Mr. Merali’s tireless generosity and support saw the organisation grow and develop into the globally renowned NGO it is today.
His funeral will take place on Monday 2 August 2021 at North Watford Cemetery, North Western Avenue, Watford, WD25 0AW, at 2pm.
For those who cannot attend physically the funeral can be viewed on the mosques livestream: Youtube.com/hujjatelc/live
Please note: the mosque will require all attendees to the funeral to wear masks and socially distance.
We pray that Allah rewards Mr Merali’s efforts, showers his soul with mercy and grants him a lofty station in Paradise. May Allah also grant his family sabr jameel in their hour of grief.
Ameen
