END ETHNIC CLEANSING IN EUROPE ONCE AND FOR ALL
Muslims call on Alliance to commit to plan to end genocide.
Over a million Kosovans have been expelled from their country. What future for them as refugees in countries with governments or people often loathe to take them, be it Macedonia or the UK?
What is needed is justice, and this involves a combination of measures that have so far not been openly discussed.
A commitment that the same force implemented by NATO in their name, will be used to help refugees return and protect them while the Kosovans are equipped to defend themselves against neighbouring aggression from whichever state. The acceptance and effecting of a protection force that does not include troops from nations which have openly voiced of effected support for Serbian genocide either in this conflict or in conflicts past. Equipping Kosovans to help themselves, in whatever appropriate manner is necessitated by the extent of capability difference to which the current genocide against them has exposed.
A recognition of independence must be implicit in any action undertaken. Anything less would be to reward Milosevic and his supporters for their heinous crimes, and handing the victims back to their persecutors. An independent Kosova with all the concomitant rights and duties of a sovereign state, must be the only long term protection for the human rights of all Kosova’s inhabitants.
