Join IHRC at its bookshop tomorrow at 6.30pm where we will be joined by author Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed who will give us an account of his book ‘A User’s Guide to the Crisis of civilization: And How to Save It’. Ahmed’s book discusses how our civilization is threatened by a system of crisis and examines a variety of different catastrophes including “Energy Scarcity,” “Food Insecurity,”
“Climate Catastrophe,” “Economic Instability,” “International Terrorism” and the “Militarization Tendency.” Dr. Ahmed’s book does not focus on the doom and gloom but provides solutions to the deep rooted problems that face us in the present day.
So join IHRC for an evening of discussion with Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed and put your questions to the man with the answers.
