Genocide Memorial Day (GMD) is a day focused on remembering man’s inhumanity to man. It takes place in London on the third Sunday of January each year. Here in Geneva, we are commemorating it on 7 December 2019. The theme for #GMD2019 in Geneva will be “Failures of International Institutions in preventing genocide in conflict: The Holocaust, Palestine and Bosnia Herzegovina.”
WHEN: Saturday 7 December 2019 from 6 pm to 10 pm
WHERE: Berenstein Amphitheatre, L’Université Ouvrière de Genève (UOG), Place des Grottes 3, 1201 Genève. Behind Geneva main Cornavin railway station. Nearest public parking at Cornavin railway station.
