IHRC Trust has launched an emergency appeal to help victims of the illegal US/Israeli aggression against Iran.
The continuing attacks are having a devastating impact on ordinary people in the country.
Latest figures show that 2000 Iranians have been killed and 25,000 injured in the wide-scale bombing campaign. Over three million have been displaced.
Aside from being illegal under international law, the attacks also routinely fail to respect the line between civilians and combatants.
The humanitarian impact is worsening by the day.
Innocent people are facing unimaginable hardship: hunger, thirst, illness, and the deep psychological scars of trauma are increasing. Displaced families have lost everything.
With hospitals bombed and overwhelmed, access to healthcare is increasingly scarce. Clean water is becoming harder to find. And beneath the surface, entire communities are grappling with grief, fear, and the invisible wounds of war.
In order to address this emergency, IHRC Trust has launched an urgent appeal aiming to bring relief to the victims.
Funds collected will be administered in-country by the Iranian Red Crescent. Among the services that the humanitarian organisation is providing are:
- Emergency shelter to protect families from the elements.
- Health care to treat the sick and injured.
- Water and sanitation to safeguard health and dignity.
- Relief item distribution to ensure no family goes without essentials.
- Psychological support to help survivors heal from trauma
IHRC Trust is registered with the Charity Commission and all funds raised in this appeal are subject to a 100% donation policy meaning that you can be assured that every single penny you give will reach those who need it.
