IHRC is deeply saddened to hear of the loss of our friend Mrs. Meher Husain, a stalwart of the struggle against injustice, particularly for the Palestinian people. Mrs. Husain was an inspirational figure, who was often seen at the London, UK pro-Palestine demonstrations, and every year at Al-Quds Day. In later years she attended in a wheelchair, sometimes helping to lead the Al-Quds Day procession. She always believed in resistance against tyranny, and was always at the forefront of it.
May Allah swt raise her station and grant her the the best mercy.
