For Shaker Aamer, the last British Resident in Guantanamo, February 14 2015 marks 13 years of torture and abuse in Guantanamo. It will be a very sad day for Shaker – 13 lost years for a man who was cleared for release without charge over 7 years ago. It will be a dark day for the reputation of the US, whose President has so far failed to honour his pledge made years ago to close Guantanamo. UK Prime Minister David Cameron has failed so far to free Shaker.
