[Updated 12 August 2019] In light of tonight’s news that Sheikh Zakzaky and Mallimah Zeenah are en route to India for medical treatment, the sit-in outside the Nigerian High Commission has been suspended. However campaigning for full justice for the Sheikh and all those who have faced turmoil and tragedy at the hands of the Nigerian government.


[Updated 05 August 2019 original post 18 July 2019] Despite today’s court ruling that they must be released, the sit-in continues until confirmation that the Sheikh and Mallimah Zeenah have been released from detention.

[updated 25 July 2019] Please note that weather forecast for the evening and night of 25 July is heavy rain, thunder and lightning, with strong gusts of wind. Please ensure you are properly dressed for the weather and please avoid using umbrellas or anything else that could be hazardous during a thunder storm.

IHRC, Inminds and AIM have called a sit-in at the Nigerian High Commission in London, UK starting 9.30pm, Thursday 11 July 2019.

Join us to protest the continued detention of the Sheikh, and demand his immediate release for urgent medical attention overseas.

Please ensure you are dressed properly for the weather and take responsibility for your own wellbeing.
