Alert: Morocco Prisoners of Faith Pack Now Available

IHRC Prisoner of Faith campaigns were first launched in 1997 to campaign for all the people being held prisoners around the world for their beliefs and way of life. Participation in these campaigns helps lead not only to improved prison conditions but also to eventual release insha Allah. Thousands of detainees have been released as a result of IHRC campaigns. Some of those released in previous years include Gul Aslan (Turkey), Sheikh Ahmed Yassin (Israeli Detention), Mohammed Mahdi Akef (Egypt), Mu’allim Ibrahim Al-Zakzaky (Nigeria) and Mustafa Dirani (Occupied Palestine).

The latest campaign pack available for download is ‘The Moroccan 12.’ It brings to light the extraordinary suffering of twelve students in Morocco who have been imprisoned for the past fifteen years. These students were put behind bars solely because of their affiliation to The Justice and Spirituality (Al Adl Wa Al Ahsan) Movement, a peaceful Islamic movement in Morocco.
