This morning’s bombing of alleged Iranian nuclear sites by the US is the natural outcome of a trajectory of genocidal violence inflicted by the collective West on the beleaguered Palestinians.

Ever since Israel started its genocide in Gaza in October 2023, it has enjoyed the unqualified support of the US-led “Axis of Assistance”.

In addition to providing diplomatic cover for Israel, it has also furnished the genocidal Zionist regime with the weapons and intelligence to carry out its pogroms.

The US attacks are nothing to do with any nuclear threat, perceived or real. They are all about helping Israel to finish the genocide by eliminating the Palestinians’ last remaining state-level ally.

“No amount of doublespeak from Washington can obfuscate this increasingly apparent reality. The illegal military attacks of today are part of the same continuum of white-supremacist violence that delivered Washington’s maniacal protege into the world in 1948. Together they have drenched the region in blood ever since,” said IHRC Chair Massoud Shadjareh.
