IHRC is calling on all Muslims and people of conscience to be careful when buying Palestinian dates and to make sure to boycott Israeli dates this Ramadan, to help spread awareness and to combat the sale of them in supermarkets.

Summary

One of the top exports of the Zionist entity is dates, which are so important to their economy that the government even subsidises their farms in order to keep them ahead of the competition. Whilst a strong campaign has urged Muslims to be careful to not buy dates labelled as being from there, the Zionists have gotten more devious in their methods and attempts to hide the origin of these dates.

Some Israeli companies are labelling their dates as being from Palestine, whilst others avoid having the place of origin on the packaging at all, which is illegal under UK law.

Islamic Human Rights Commission proud to be supporting the Palestinian Dates Monitoring Authority, which verifies companies that are both importing genuine Palestinian dates, and are refusing to sell any produce from the settler colonial state. Below we are promoting the four companies that have so far been verified by the PDMA, and links to where you can buy dates from two of these companies through IHRC.

Write to your supermarket demanding that they properly label their dates as the law requires, and urge them to stop selling Israeli dates, we have addresses and a template letter here.
