A new anti-Iran war coalition is holding an emergency demonstration tomorrow 22 April outside Downing Street to protest the illegal US/Israel led war against Iran.

The protest has been timed to coincide with the 14-day ceasefire between the parties that is due to expire tonight.

With little sign of any breakthrough in negotiations, it is feared that the US and Israel will resume their military attacks.

The Hands Off Iran Coalition, of which IHRC is a founding member, comprises a wide range of groups from diverse backgrounds. It includes the Jewish Network for Palestine, Muslim Public Affairs Committee, Workers Party of Britain and the Palestinian Youth Movement among others.

The coalition’s aim is to mobilise global opposition to the genocidal threat against Iran by building an international solidarity network of anti-war, peace, and civil society organisations.

The coalition is calling on all people of conscience to join it.

Tomorrow’s demonstration will be the coalition’s first since its launch. Protestors will be assembling outside Downing Street on 22nd April from 6pm.
