What’s new at IHRC

Salam everyone,

It has been a very busy week here at IHRC! Yesterday saw the launch of ‘Only Canadian: The Experience of Hate Moderated Differential Citizenship for Muslims’ – the latest publication in our hate crime research project! It is available both in paperback and to digitally download so make sure you get your copy.

IHRC also played a part in the front cover of Wednesday’s The Guardian. Both Massoud Shadjareh and Arzu Merali were two of a group of signatories in a letter to the newspaper regarding the ‘Trojan Horse’ row. Keep reading for more about that.

Tomorrow we’re also hosing our End of Exhibition Conversation with Intifada Street artist Mohammad Hamza. It should be a great evening of discussion, featuring some spoken word poetry too! If you can’t be there in person, you can livestream the event from 5.30pm by CLICKING HERE.
