For Christ’s Sake: By academics Ahmad Thomson and Muhammad ‘Ata’ur- Rahim. For Christ’s Sake looks at the history of how Christianity developed within Europe and specifically how it reacted to the European presence of Islam in the Iberian Peninsula. The book introduces us to the different factions of Christianity in early Europe like the Unitarians and Trinitarians, and then how those societies changed to what was the eventual face of the Spanish Inquisition.

Capitalism’s Last Stand?: In this eye-opening and often scathing book, Walden Bello provides a forensic dissection of contemporary capitalism’s multiple crises. Trenchant but constructive, Bello’s analysis of the collapse of the global real economy – covering such issues as the Wall Street meltdown, the disintegration of the Greek economy and the rise of China – emphasizes the ever more pressing need to engage in a radical process of ‘deglobalization’
