Charter 3:103 is a simple Quranic verse that calls for unity amongst Muslims.  IHRC is encouraging Muslim organisations to sign up to the charter to ensure unity and work against sectarianism in the Muslim community.

Already a diverse group of organisations such as MAB, MCB and many others have signed up to the charter, and now we are urging others to do the same.  This charter is to give a voice to the silent majority.  Those that provoke disunity and hatred will be challenged and exposed, regardless of the different backgrounds that they may come from.

IHRC has worked against sectarianism not only in the UK, but across the world.  A recent increase in sectarian incidents has initiated a new push towards unity from the organisations in society that stand opposed to such divides.

Chair of IHRC, Massoud Shadjareh said, “We need to stand united against sectarianism and expose those few individuals and organisations that exploit and promote it.”
