An open letter to the Secretray of State for Transport in the UK.

Barcelona is due to ban the Niqab (Islamic face veil) in some public places by the end of the summer, 2010.

A delegation of European Muslim dignitaries is visiting Turkey from 9 to 15 May 2010 to lobby the Turkish government to veto Israel’s accession to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and development (OECD). This visit is a culmination of IHRC’s campaign, which has seen thousands of letters from around the world being sent to the Turkish Prime Minister.

The consequences of wearing the niqab in Belgium would be a fine of 30 Euros and a 7 day prison sentence.Â
