This book compiles the papers and transcripts of the eponymous conference of 2005. The audio of the conference can be heard here.
The book also adds a substantial introduction to the papers, overviewing their thematics and content, as well as introducing each section: The Right of Return; The Right to Resist; and Methods of Resistance. Contributors to the book are:
Rabbi Yisroel Weiss, Rabbi Ahron Cohen, Dr. Ilan Pappe, Dr. Saied Reza Ameli, Imam Muhammad Al-Asi, Leah Tsemel, Imam Achmad Cassiem, Fr. Joe McVeigh, Dr. Ghada M. Ramahi, May El-Khansa, Rima Fakhry, Rev Steven Sizer and Achmandarite Attalla Hannaa.
The book concludes with questions for further discussion. A new publication based on the papers of Dr. Mohamad Nasrin Nasir and Dr. Daud Abdullah on ‘The Universality of the Theology of Liberation: Views from Muslim History’ will be launched later in 2010.
